Madden 16 Player Ratings: Top CBs

Madden fans have been anxiously awaiting the CB ratings for Madden 16. The wait is over. Just like running backs and wide receivers, many of the top CBs had a reduction in SPD. Here are the top 5 CBs in Madden 16:

Richard Sherman, Seattle Seahawks: 97 OVR, 92 Man Coverage, 99 Zone Coverage, 87 SPD, 99 PREC, 99 PRS, 85 CTH, 98 JMP.

Sherman and Revis are tied for the top CB at 97 OVR. Sherman has top notch man and zone coverage skills. He also has great hands and jumping ability. Sherman’s OVR and SPD declined 2 points during the offseason.

Darelle Revis, New York Jets: 99 Man Coverage, 94 Zone Coverage, 95 PRC, 87 PRS, 88 SPD.

Darelle Revis has a perfect man coverage rating, allowing him to shut down the best receivers in Madden 16. His OVR is down 1 point and his SPD is down 5 points from Madden 15.

Vontae Davis, Indianapolis Colts: 95 OVR, 97 Man Coverage, 94 Zone Coverage, 98 Press Coverage, 88 SPD, 88 Play Recognition.

Although his OVR dropped 3 points during the offseason, Vontae Davis has an elite set of ratings for a CB. Not only will he be elite in man or zone coverage, he will also dominate in press coverage and play recognition. His SPD dropped 5 points during the offseason.

Chris Harris Jr., Denver Broncos: 94 OVR, 89 SPD, 95 Play Recognition, 98 Man Coverage, 97 Zone Coverage.

Chris Harris Jr. improved 1 OVR during the offseason. He is highly aware of the plays that are run by the opposing offense, so he will be difficult to fake out with play action. On top of that, his man coverage and zone coverage ratings are almost perfect. His SPD rating is down 3 points from Madden 15.

Sean Smith, Kansas City Chiefs: 91 OVR, 86 SPD, 94 Play Recognition, 93 Man Coverage, 95 Zone Coverage, 97 PRS.

Sean Smith brings well-balanced elite ratings to the Chief’s secondary. His SPD rating went down 2 points during the offseason.
