Madden 16 player ratings for the top 5 quarterbacks have been released. Aaron Rodgers is the first 99 OVR player to be revealed in Madden 16. Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson are not in the top five quarterbacks, which may have surprised certain fan bases. It appears that EA Sports has adjusted Throw Accuracy Deep ratings, by giving each quarterback a decent drop in TAD. It will be interesting to see if and how that impacts deep passes in Madden 16.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers: 99 OVR, 95 Throw Power, 98 Play Action, 88 Throw on Run, 80 Throw Accuracy Deep, 94 Throw Accuracy Short, 92 Throw Accuracy Middle.

Aaron Rodger is the top QB in Madden 16. He has the best Throw Accuracy Deep at 80, although it is down 9 points from Madden 15. His OVR rating increased one point during the offseason.

Tom Brady, New England Patriots: 97 OVR, 96 Throw Accuracy Short, 97 throw Accuracy Middle, 70 Throw Accuracy Deep, 94 Throw Power.

Despite having 70 Throw Deep Accuracy, Tom Brady is a 97 OVR. His Throw Power is still high with great short/mid pass accuracy. Brady dropped 2 OVR points during the offseason and lost his spot in the 99 OVR club. His throw accuracy deep dropped from 81 to 70.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints: 95 OVR, 93 Throw Accuracy Short, 91 Throw Accuracy Middle, 73 Throw Accuracy Deep, 87 Throw Power, and 93 Play Action.

Drew Brees will be a very reliable and predictable quarterback in Madden 16. His one weakness may be the deep pass, which will be limited by his deep passing accuracy and throw power. His OVR rating actually went up 1 point during the off season, which seems to be uncommon for veteran players. Like many other quarterbacks, his throw accuracy deep dropped dramatically.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers: 95 OVR, 85 STR, 95 Throw on the Run, 94 Throw Power, 87 Throw Accuracy Short, 90 Throw Accuracy Middle, 73 Throw Accuracy Deep, and 92 Play Action.

Ben Roethlisberger will continue to be one of the most exciting quarterbacks to use in Madden 16. His ratings suit his “street ball” style of football, where he can throw on the run and avoid sacks. Big Ben’s OVR rating increased by 1 during the off season.

Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts: 94 OVR, 95 Throw on the Run, 88 Throw Accuracy Short, 89 Throw Accuracy Middle, 75 Throw Accuracy Deep, 95 Throw Power, 92 Play Action.

Andrew Luck rounds out the top five quarterbacks in Madden 15. He has a great all around game and should be a lot of fun to control. His OVR rating jumped 3 ratings points during the off season.
